Tips

Macayo's Mexican Kitchen
No trip to Arizona for Spring Training is complete without enjoying the best tasting Mexican food around. Macayo's Mexican Kitchen is a Valley of the Sun tradition, serving delicious chimichangas, tacos and enchiladas in town since 1946. Before or after the Cubs game, fans can visit our Scottsdale location on Scottsdale Road just north of Shea Boulevard or our Tempe Depot Cantina in Downtown Tempe at 3 rd St. and Ash. www.macayo.com

Dos Gringos Southwestern Patio Grilles

Whether it's going to be a happy hour meeting place or a weekend party destination Dos Gringos takes care of all your partying needs. So strap on those party hats and come and visit the #1 day drinking spots in the country...after all, they did invent drinking. 4209 N Craftsman Ct. Buy Your Tickets in Advance For Weekend Games and Arrive Early
The Giants have arguably the best fan atmosphere for weekend games, especially beyond the outfield wall in the lawn section. Games sell out. And get to the stadium early, there’s a lot of congestion. Don’t miss the first pitch!

A Free Ride
Great ballpark and location, but the one true negative to Scottsdale Stadium's highly visible downtown setting is parking. Spaces are scarce and many of the seemingly available ones near the ballpark are actually reserved for hospital parking. One way to avoid the hassle is to opt for the Giants' Trolley Shuttle, a free service from a pair of locations that begins 90 minutes before game time and concludes 30 minutes after the last pitch. Call 480-312-7696 for details.

Sit In The Shade
Buy seats ahead of time and make sure you sit under the shade, which makes a difference as it gets pretty hot
