Keuchel to rejoin Astros' rotation on Friday
Former American League Cy Young Award winner Dallas Keuchel, who hasn't pitched in nearly two months because of discomfort in his neck, will be activated from the disabled list and return to the mound on Friday, when the Astros open a series against the Tigers in Detroit, manager A.J. Hinch announced on Wednesday.

Off night sends Astros to rare road defeat
Baseball's best offense met its match on Wednesday night in Aaron Nola. Nola struck out a career-high 10 batters in six stellar innings, and Cameron Rupp blasted a pair of two-run homers for his first career multihomer game to lead the Phillies to a 9-0 win over the first-place Astros at Citizens Bank Park. The loss was just the 13th in 50 road games this year for the Astros, who own the Majors' best road winning percentage (.740).

Astros welcome healthy Keuchel back in Detroit
Former American League Cy Young Award winner Dallas Keuchel will be activated from the disabled list after missing eight weeks with neck discomfort to start the Astros' series opener against the Tigers on Friday night at Comerica Park. Keuchel is 9-0 with a 1.67 ERA but hasn't pitched since June 2.
