Tip of the Day

Tempe's Version of The Big A
Just like Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Tempe Diablo Stadium is synonymous with congestion. It's tightly fit into real estate bordered by a rock formation, industrial section and I-10. The end result is traffic headaches coming and going, the worst you'll find in spring training on either coast. The stadium does have 1,350 paved parking spaces behind home plate and right field, but those fill up quickly and later arriving (or traffic delayed) fans will need to park in one of the nearby office complexes, where prices are reasonable but the wait to leave after the game is not. www.springtrainingconnection.com
Graham

"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring".
